FujiFilm FinePix 1300 is a 1.3MP camera, it hit the market in Sept. 2000 for around $250 USD, it has a fixed lens at 5.8mm (38mm in 35mm equivalent), shutter speeds of 1/2 – 1/1000, ISO 125, aperture f/4.5 ~ f/11 and few manual adjustments.
For what the camera is, its not bad, I have seen better and worse in its age and category bracket, its a great gift to a child or technology challenged person, I was able to get 99 pictures on a 64M Smart Card at Fine resolution, I used Energizer rechargeable batteries and ran out of card space before batteries! 🙂
In this gallery, you’ll see the images from a recent trip to San Francisco, all images are straight out of the camera, other then re-sizing for the web. I did a panoramic of 25 individual photos, you’ll see 2 versions of this. The first one is the original pano and the second is a Photochopped version, in that one I changed the sky and added clouds, I also adjusted the black point, sharpness and color saturation, all photos are done without flash and used natural lighting.
